Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader.  Perhaps we should each decide who our  real leader is….It is amazing to see that very little has  changed in 4,000 years.

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it’s always a delight to see  the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into  God’s Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will to the 47th  chapter of Genesis, we’ll begin our reading at verse 13, and go  through verse 27.  Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us?  ….(reading)… 

Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray… So we see that  economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to  the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again. 

So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their  livestock -their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year..

 But the famine wasn’t over, was it? So the next year, the people  came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. “There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh.”

So they  surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to
 Pharaoh’s government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain. What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?

 That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider
 in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes.. That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master? Yes.

 But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel
 settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen .. And they gained
 possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly.” God  provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn’t end up  giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained  possessions!

But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one. We see the same thing happening today – the government today wants to “share the wealth “once again, to take it from us and redistribute  it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken  control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government  rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and  what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will  wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years  ago – as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders.

 What Mr. Obama’s government is doing now is no different from what  Pharaoh’s government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of   people like to call Mr. Obama a “Messiah,” don’t they? Is he a Messiah?  A savior? Didn’t the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves,  ”You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh”?

 Well, I tell you this -  I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine;  and Mr. Obama is no Messiah! No, brothers and sisters,  if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh.  Bow with me in prayer, if you will.

 Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone.  We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be.  We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people  of what a ruler would do, where it says “And in that day you will cry out  because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but  the LORD will not answer you in that day.” And Lord, we acknowledge  that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have  chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray  for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters.  Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people  from the atrocities of Pharaoh’s government.

Can I get an Amen????

Obama knew Hasan prior to the Fort Hood shootings.

Ahhhhhh, so this is why Obama’s saying “Let’s not jump to conclusions..” – Hasan was on Obama’s Presidential Transition Team!

This means Obama worked with Hasan personally and got input from him. Think about that for a second…..

Will 9/11 Justice be served or….does something smell fishy.. hmmm…???

I just got this question from my mom via e-mail (and her permission to blog it lol) This is a very interesting question, and an excellent point…. Please tell me what you think, and if you know the answer to this, thanks!

I haven’t researched this alot, and I’m certainly no Constitution expert, but doesn’t it boggle the mind that this is happening?? Why is Obama wanting them to be tried in NYC in a civilian court? They should have already been tried and convicted in a Military court and executed. But that’s my opinion…

I’m not even sure which ones of them were American citizens and which weren’t (I thought some were on Visas right?)  Can non-citizens be tried in our courts?  If they were citizens, could they get a “fair trial” in NYC?? (not that my mom or I *care* if they get any of their rights, they are terrorists….)

There’s got to be more to this story of bringing them to NYC, you know???

White House officials are going to announce today that Obama’s $787 Billion stimulus plan “has created or saved at least 1 million jobs” since he signed it in February 2009.

Okay, let’s do the math…

787 billion divided by 1 million = seven hundred eighty-seven thousand

Each job he claims to have “saved or created” has cost US the taxpayers $787,000 EACH! Way to go, Obama! *:roll: *

I’m sure they don’t want us to know that many of those “created or saved” jobs were special jobs created for his crooked cronies.  Don’t believe the fluff!

Handouts! Handouts! Get your Government Handouts!

Here are just some of the FREE things that Welfare Recipients receive (while every tax paying worker in America pays for them):

1. Free cash
They get a check every month which they can cash and use however they want. There are no rules as to what they can buy or specific purpose for the money.  Not only that, but depending on where you live, you might see things like *this* (free cash at ATM’s).

2. Free groceries
Food stamps are now given in the form of a credit card so it doesn’t “embarrass” them, and is automatically filled up on the 1st of every month.

3. Free rent
HUD and other programs will pay 100% of their rent in the form of vouchers.  They never have to think about it or worry – their rent is paid every month automatically! And, the more kids they have, the bigger their house can be. Those with 2 or more kids of both genders (a boy & a girl for example) would be able to get a larger free house, because their rules state that different gendered kids can’t share a room.

4. Free Daycare
The Department of Health and Human Services pays for their childcare for job hunting and work 100% every month. They swipe a card and it’s paid. A welfare mom can put her child(ren) in daycare for free 8 hours a day, to ‘job hunt’, so long as she puts in one application per day. Does it take 8 hours to put in one application? Heck no. Do you know how much money we’d save if they stopped just that one stupid policy? Welfare moms typically have welfare friends, can’t they just switch off watching each others’ kids like the rest of us?

5. Free medical, dental and vision
No paid insurance plan matches this one. They don’t have co-pays, deductibles or any out of pocket expenses for going to the family doctor, dentist or eye doctor.

6. Free Home phone
Many programs like Life Tel give free phone service each month. It might cost them a whole $1 a month but that gets them all the features you could possibly get in addition to free long distance. PLUS FREE INTERNET! Watch this:

7. Free Cell phone and Service
There is a program that provides free cell phones and free service every month.  Click *here* to see how cheery they make being on welfare sound, how normal and exclusive, like you’re “in the club”, sigh! Check out their warm and fuzzy commercial:

8. Free Utilities
In case the cash isn’t enough, welfare recipients can go to their local DHS office and ask them to pay any of their utilities at any time and they will pay the utility company directly.

9. Free clothes and household goods
Every city has a place, often called a Clothes Closet, where welfare recipients can come get new and used clothes, coats, car seats, dishes, and even more food in case the food stamps aren’t enough.

10. Free car
Yes, I said a FREE CAR. There is a program where welfare recipients can go get a free car to use for job hunting and transportation for work.  These free cars come with Free Insurance, Free AAA, Free Repairs and more. If they don’t keep their job, that’s ok. They can still keep the car! -No joke. Read about it *here*.

Wow, sounds like a good deal huh? Why WOULD they want to go back to work???  They are living better than alot of us!

Clinton put a 5 Year welfare Limit in place. He put caps on benefits too.  Did you know that Obama recently did away with that? Now there is NO limit now to how long a person can be on welfare, and no cap on how much they can get!

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against people getting help when they need it. I got food stamps and WIC (Women, Infants, Children program which gives moms free milk, formula etc.) when my first child was an infant right after I had left his abusive father.  I needed help and I’m glad it’s there for people who need help for a short amount of time.  Luckily I soon met my husband and refused any further handouts.

I think it’s a good thing if its temporary and specific. It’s supposed to be a help up, not a hand out.  I don’t agree with giving them cash and I certainly don’t agree that a cell phone or car is something any tax payer should have to provide. That is just crazy.

Lastly, I remember back in the 90′s, CLINTON tried to pass a tax break for Stay at Home Moms, but it was defeated, I don’t remember by which party.  It was some kind of special tax that was designed to help families who had a stay at home parent.  That got shot down, but all of the above are okay? *Rolls Eyes*

I realize ‘Obama’ didn’t put into place all of the above. Previous administrations did.  He DID however, rescind the Welfare Limits and Caps. Wonder why he did that? To help further his “trickle up” economy baloney, that’s why.

I don’t care which “party” started it, it’s still not right to give all of the above freebies to people who refuse to work, while the rest of us who do work, pay for it.

I get so angry every time this happens to me:

I’m in line at the store, coupons in hand, having stuck to my carefully planned menu and list closely, worrying if I’m going to have to put anything back if I go over. You know the feeling. The lady in front of me has 4 kids and two carts – one filled with her food stamp items, the other filled with junk food, candy and beer she uses her free cash to pay for. Her “man” slips in another 12 pack of beer. The 9 month old baby in the cart is filthy and has a sucker in her mouth. Alternate scene: the 9 month old baby in the cart is filthy and screaming for more candy.  She finally leaves and I pay for my groceries, digging to the bottom of my purse for change so I don’t have to break another twenty (once you break em, they sure go quick, right?) So I finish up (Whew! didn’t have to put anything back!) and head towards my car with my one cart of groceries I hope will last two weeks…  I pass the food stamp lady, who’s having her 4 kids load all that stuff into her brand new Mercedes.  I sigh as I load my groceries into my old Saturn.  It just never seems fair does it?  How many times have you experienced this?

We need welfare reform before we need health care reform. In fact, we need insurance and tort reform, along with cracking down on welfare and medicare fraud.  We’d all be rolling in piles of cash if they’d fix those problems!

There are some who feel that welfare recipients use their money for drugs and feel they should be regularly tested for drugs. Perhaps some of them do. I’m sure some of them do.  Welfare recipients should agree to random drug testing. Working people are randomly checked at most jobs and we don’t have a choice, what’s the big deal?

I am very surprised by the epiphany I’ve had lately: the more I know, the less I like Bush (gasp!) the more I respect Clinton (gulp!) the more I like Ron Paul (wow) and the more I cannot stand Obama!!! (ok not surprised by that last one Ha!)

I’m pretty peeved about this, but I’ve tried to state my opinions in a nice way at least, right? These people however, aren’t holding back, LOL (language warning)

Yesterday on the Glenn Beck program, Glenn skillfully hinted that Anita Dunn‘s husband Robert (Bob) Bauer is about to land a new job, when he took a call from a source while taping the show. Anita Dunn is now Obama’s White House Communications Director.  She was Obama’s senior media adviser during the presidential campaign.  Quid pro quo anyone?

Immediately rumors started flying about what position, existed or newly created just for him, he will take.  Glenn was certain The Red Phone would ring, and he kept looking at it…  it was dramatic and hilarious.. Amazingly enough, the now infamous red phone never rang, though I’m sure Anita and Bob are both still trying to get their pulses to return to normal today….

Bauer is already Obama’s personal attorney who is helping Obama fight off the Birth Certificate issue through his law firm he is Partner at: Perkins Coie.  He is also the general counsel to the Democratic National Committee.  His DNC job will puts him in charge, legally speaking, of Obama’s new political organization, Organizing for America.

Bauer’s legal team at Perkins Coie has worked on behalf of many leading lawmakers, including Nancy Pelosi!  Oh, and Thomas Daniel, who is also a Partner with Bauer at Perkins Coie, was the so called “independent investiator” who headed up the “independent investigation” against Sarah Palin. They claimed she was guilty of ethics violations in July.  Yeah, bull hockey!

Sources today say that Bauer is poised to replace Greg Craig as White House Counsel.

The puzzle pieces are starting to come together nicely now! They’re all a bunch of quid pro quo socialist democrats scratching each others backs.  How convenient! They all need to go the first chance we get to vote them each out!

What a difference 20 years makes right?

20 years ago, Ronald Reagan said “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down these walls!”.

Thanks to that peaceful revolution, the border between East and West Germany fell, the Cold War ended, and Germany was reunited.

When he was President, the economy was great, inventions and new innovations were cranking out fast, and families were living well and enjoying Conservatism in America.  Are you like me, wishing we could go back to the Reagan Years?  I get sad when I realize how far off the American path we’ve stumbled thanks to the Progressives and Liberals, who are all hell bent on “fundamentally changing” America.  What about the rest of us who like America just the way it, faults and all?  The Progressives and Liberals have tricked alot of people into thinking its OK to support their ideals and agenda.  I honestly worry about the people blindly following Obama and the Liberals.  They’re like fish who won’t know they’re wet.

I think it’s time for us to say: “Obama, tear down this wall you’ve build between us, the Media we’re supposed to trust, and the Government we’re supposed to control!”

20 years ago, I was 16. I was working part time, going to school, and engaged to a gorgeous guy whose heart I would stupidly break the following spring.  I wore ripped Guess jeans, neon accessories,  carried my “walkman” everywhere I went, and I assumed everything would always stay the same.

I took for granted the fact that I live in the best nation on earth: America.  I think we’ve forgotten what it means to live here and what it took for us to become free in the first place.  We take our freedom and democracy for granted. We’re lazy about voting, we’re not paying attention, and we have become complacent.  Maybe I could and should put all that in past tense: We were lazy about voting, we weren’t paying attention, and we were complacent.

It does give me tremendous hope that we are waking up and standing up to the scary things happening to us, by our own Government.  We’re still acting quite helpless though – and we’re not! We can stand up and demand real change we can believe in: a change BACK to real Conservatism in America.  We can, and should, pray for America.  Please read 2 CHR 7:14, it’s powerful and you should pray over it.

Glenn Beck has said over and over that the only way to save our America is to become the Christian, God fearing, Courageous People we were back then.  The rest will fall into place!

Our nation has no plans to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Obama has chosen to skip it!  (see my previous Blog today)

Why is Obama refusing to accept the personal invitation of the German chancellor and attend festivities marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall?

Ronald Reagan worked hard and helped end Communism in Russia. I clearly remember hearing him yell “Mr. Gorbachev, Tear down these walls!” It was a huge victory for freedom and for America.

I think it’s pretty clear why why Obama is refusing to celebrate that! It would endorse American triumph and superiority! Obama doesn’t endorse “triumphalism” or the idea that America is “superior” to any country anymore.  To endorse triumphalism would put America above other nations.  He has already been advocating his new “internationalist” and “socialist” idea that we are equal to, not above other countries.

Rick Richman of Contentions says:  “President Obama has reportedly informed the German government that he will not travel to Berlin on November 9 to participate in the 20th-anniversary celebration of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It is an unfortunate decision on multiple counts.

First, it is another slight to another European ally – one that is going all-out to celebrate the event. The invitation to Obama was extended personally by Chancellor Angela Merkel last June. . . . .

He also added it would  be “an opportunity for Obama to give a speech in which he does not apologize for his country but celebrates the triumph of freedom that has been the driving force of American history from its beginning through his own election. . . .”

Now, Obama can’t have that, after all he is trying to “fundamentally change America” from One Nation under God, to a member of the Global community, under a Global Socialist and Communist Government.

We’ll pass on your evil agenda, Mr. President! We AMERICANS are Proud of the fact that we helped end Communism, and it ought to be celebrated!!

Breaking: The UK Times online reported late last night that  Todd Stern, US Special Envoy for Climate Change, says Obama may not attend the December 2009 UN Summit on Climate Change, “unless sufficient progress was being made in the negotiations”.

Don’t get too excited, he’s going…. It simply means Obama is wanting to appear hesitant and thoughtful, when what he really wants to do is negotiate more before hand, probably behind closed doors if you catch my drift.  [ Consider the special business deals he worked out between GM and Russia recently, the very day he surrendered to Russian on Missile Defense, which stabbed some of our Allies including Poland (where my family immigrated from in 1907) right in the back. To get a good idea of Russia's new relationship with Obama, look at their news page HERE. It's all about Obama, because Obama is helping Russia with their business deals with GM in exchange for pulling our missile defense programs for our Allies. If you think Poland and the Czech Republic will forget about this direct insult and neglect, think again. Obama is burning some important bridges. ]

Ed Miliband, the Energy and Climate Change secretary, appealed to President Obama to intervene to rescue the deal and said his presence in Copenhagen could make “all the difference between success and failure”.

Wait, maybe we should let him go. After all, look at the success from his last trip to Copenhagen? That did alot of good for Chicago……

The truth is Obama isn’t about to refuse to attend the UN Summit on Climate Change. After all, he just won the Nobel Peace Prize for his “efforts” in International relations.  His signature has already been bought and paid for by the Nobel Committee. The Treaty the UN is bringing forth for signatures is a very International matter and he will be expected to be there and to sign by the International Community. Any countries who try to refuse will be talked into it. Its been reported that “virtually no country won’t sign”.

As I previously blogged here: ” Obama poised to cede US Sovereignty “, (you may wish to read that to get caught up on what the purpose of the UN meeting will be)  Obama’s agenda is the same as the International Community’s agenda: Socialism.  Their agenda is worldwide, his is here nationally.  Of course he’s going to attend the summit. He was probably instructed to show a little hesitation for appearances sake.

Mr Stern delivered a warning to developing countries that they needed to make substantial commitments on reducing the growth of their Greenhouse Gas emissions. “We don’t in the US deny that we have real historical responsibility but the IEA [International Energy Agency] in Paris will tell you that 97 per cent of the growth in emissions between now and 2050 will come from the developing world. The US has to act and the EU and Japan but also the developing countries. It’s the only way to solve this problem.”

What, what did he say?….. So we’re to blame up til now, but 97% of future emissions will come from other smaller developing countries.. however WE will be the country paying the MOST to those developing countries as payment for past climate “debt”.  Yeah, that makes sense!!
