My Country ‘Tis of Thee

My country, ’tis of thee,
Sweet land of Liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrim’s pride!
From ev’ry mountain side,
Let freedom ring!

My native country thee,
Land of the noble free,
Thy name I love.
I love thy rocks and rills,
Thy woods and templed hills;
My heart with rapture thrills,
Like that above.

Let music swell the breeze,
And ring from all the trees,
Sweet freedom’s song.
Let mortal tongues awake;
Let all that breathe partake;
Let rocks their silence break,
the sound prolong.

Our fathers’ God, to Thee,
Author of Liberty,
To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright,
With freedom’s holy light;
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God, our King!

This song always brings me to tears, especially nowadays…

You can sit there and pretend you’re safe and that everything’s going to be the same, or you can realize they really are fundamentally changing America, and stand up with the rest of us patriots who are trying to do something about them eating away at our freedoms.  If we don’t, we won’t recognize America very soon, and we’ll have alot of explaining to do for why we sat idly by and allowed the Progressives to take over.  Stand up for America. America is the only truly free nation on this planet. Don’t let that end.  We are Americans, we are courageous and free!  Can I get an Amen? :)
