This just in:  The NY-23 race from November 5th is not over yet.

*UPDATE: Nov 16th, scroll down for Update.
DOUG HOFFMAN HAS UN-CONCEDED!

Owens has been sworn in today but the vote has not yet been Certified.

This is because Votes are still being counted 7 days later. There is now only a 3,000 vote difference between Owens and Hoffman.  Absentee ballots still remain uncounted. I’ve heard that a recount may be requested.

Of concern, in addition to the uncounted Absentee votes, a voting machine went down during the vote on November 5th, and Fulton County voted via Paper BallotsThe votes from the machine and Fulton County have not been counted yet.

Doug Hoffman might still win! Owens has reportedly stated that if the count ends up giving the win to Hoffman, he will step down.

UPDATE: November 16th: Doug Hoffman now only trails Owens by 2,000 votes. There are over 10,000 ballots left to count.  The final count will be complete by Thursday.

Another update: AT 9:30 am CST on the Glenn Beck radio program, Doug Hoffman said he’s “UN”-conceding and looking forward to the vote count! The un-conceding is of course unofficial, BUT Owens has said that if the vote count goes to Hoffman, he will step down.

Cross your fingers, PRAY, Knock on wood, meditate, whatever! lol

We all need Hoffman in NYC’s 23rd district!
